FACULTIES
THE FACULTY OF FOREIGN STUDENTS
Embark on your journey to a medical career in Russia with our Preparatory Studying Course. As a foreign student, you have a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Russian language and essential subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. In just 9 months, you’ll equip yourself with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in your medical studies.
Upon successfully completing the preparatory course, you’ll gain admission to our prestigious University to pursue your dream of studying medicine. At our University, foreign students thrive in the Faculty of General Medicine, where the educational experience is offered in two languages: Russian and English. Over the course of 6 years, you’ll receive a comprehensive medical education that sets you on the path to a fulfilling career in healthcare.
Foreign students are offered two forms of training: the Russian-language training and the English-and-Russian-language training. The Russian-language training includes the studying of all the disciplines in the Russian language only. In order to communicate with patients, it is implied by the English-and-Russian language training that students will receive an education in English and develop strong Russian language skills. After graduating from the university, graduates receive an international diploma and the Doctor of Medicine degree. At the clinical residency, international students can continue their study.
LIBRARY AND COMPUTING FACILITIES
The University Library, recognized as a Regional Medical Library, serves as a hub for cultural and intellectual exchange. Our extensive collection includes over 412,000 native and foreign medical publications and related materials, alongside various databases and electronic manuals. We acquire 6 to 8 thousand new items annually and maintain subscriptions to more than 170 academic periodicals.
