ERPM PREPARATION PROGRAMME

ERPM (Examination to Register to Practice Medicine) is conducted by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) for citizens of Sri Lanka who have obtained their medical qualification from foreign medical institutions. The candidates should possess an MBBS or equivalent degree from a medical institution which is recognized by SLMC, are eligible to sit this exam. Passing the ERPM enables them to apply for Provisional Registration with the SLMC.

REC Campus offers ERPM Preparation programme for students to pass the exam from the first attempt. This programme is arranged to conduct in parallel with the studies in the university right from the first year till the final year. ERPM EXAM STRUCTURE

  • Part A – Theory Examination in Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Psychiatry.
  • Part B – Clinical Examination
  • Part C – Oral Examination
  • Part D – Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine
