Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, H.E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia and Belarus, visited Grodno State Medical University on 15th December 2020 for the first time in his period of duties and it is a milestone for Sri Lankan students as a visit of a diplomat from Sri Lanka to the university. Productive meetings were organized by University officials, students and REC staff at GRSMU.
The Ambassador had an official discussion among the Sri Lankan students and he further highlighted that the administration of the embassy will assist to develop and strengthen friendly ties between the two countries to build a better future in the sphere of Education.
We would like to thank H.E.Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia and Belarus, Mr. Anas Mohamed, First secretary to the embassy, as well as the rector and staff of the Grodno state medical university, Mr. Dmitry Kovelev- Head of REC Belarusian Team and other REC staff in Belarus, Student leaders and all the students who assisted to have the meetings successfully .
